HWP documents, from opening to saving

HWP Studio opens HWP/HWPX and saves the formats you need, without installation or signup.

How to use it

Choose or drop a file. HWP 5.0 and HWPX are supported, up to 30 MB and 150 pages per file.
Browse the pages and compare fonts, tables and equations with the original. Complex, encrypted, distribution-only or damaged documents may fail to open or differ.
Save the full image PDF, UTF-8 text, current page PNG, or selected pages. Check your downloads to confirm the file was saved.
You can edit the download filename. Review any suggested repair before applying it. Saving an original copy preserves its bytes and does not change the existing file on your device.

Search and page selection

Search is case-sensitive within extracted text runs. Text in images and terms across line or formatting boundaries may be missed. Highlighting covers a text run and may differ from exact character positions in the original.

Pages are saved in the entered order. Duplicates and reversed ranges are not allowed. PNG files use sequence and original page numbers and are saved in one ZIP (up to 200 MB total).

Before exporting

PDF pages are saved as images. Text search and selection, original links and forms are not supported, and zoomed or printed output may lose quality. Fonts, tables and equations may differ; check before saving.

TXT may change reading order in tables or text boxes and omit content. Compare with the original and submission requirements before official use. For high-resolution printing, export PDF from the original application.

This beta opens and converts HWP 5.0 and HWPX. Encrypted, distribution-only, damaged or complex documents may fail or differ from the original. Document editing, saving edited HWP, DOCX conversion and AI features are not provided.

If processing fails

Close the document and retry in an updated desktop browser. Complexity or low memory may cause failure even within limits. Cancellation can be delayed during long conversions. PNG bundles are limited to 200 MB; smaller devices may not handle that amount. Recovery after forced termination is not guaranteed.

Continue in PDF Studio

Check that the file was saved in your downloads, then open PDF Studio and select the saved PDF yourself. Files are not transferred automatically. Continue with compression, merging and page organization.

Document processing and ads

The tool processes files in browser memory without uploading them or keeping them in storage. Closing clears the screen and working state; it does not delete files already downloaded to your device.

This guide has no document input. Google advertising may process connection information such as IP address, browser details and cookies. No document upload and advertising network traffic are separate matters. The tool does not send files, document names or text to ad requests.
